Short answer
We never guarantee anything, but if our recovery is successful we almost always recover all your data. A phone or MacBook that we power on again gives us full access to everything. Hard drives and SSDs can have some damaged files, and we give you a list of any that cannot be recovered. In rare cases the folder structure may be affected or file names lost.
We never guarantee anything as we aim to avoid overpromising and underdelivering. However, in the majority of cases, we are typically able to recover all data if our efforts are successful. In instances where recovery is not possible, we usually retrieve nothing. For example, if we examine a severely damaged mobile phone and cannot recover any data due to significant damage to the CPU chip, then no data will be retrieved. We will provide a transparent explanation for this outcome. However, if we can successfully power on a device such as a phone, MacBook, or iMac computer that was previously non-functional, then there is no impediment to copying all data from it.
There are rare circumstances involving hard drives with platter damage or head crashes, or SSDs with numerous read errors, where some files may not be recoverable. Nevertheless, it is generally true that if we achieve success, we recover all data. Should there be any damaged files, a list of these files will be provided.
Typically, with mobile phones and MacBooks, successful recovery means all data is retrieved. For hard disk drives and SSDs, there may be some damaged files for which we can provide a list of unrecoverable items. However, in the vast majority of cases, we restore all data to its original state, including proper file and folder names. In rare cases, the folder structure may be compromised or file names lost, but this is an uncommon occurrence.
