The process of retrieving the files from my corrupt hard drive was really smooth. Tim communicated everything with me really clearly, and kept me updated with how the process was unfolding. It is expensive, but worth it in my opinion, especially if the files are of importance.

Pricey but overall a slick experience and I was also pleasantly surprised they fixed my laptop as well as recovering the data! Luckily I requested it to be sent back to me and I clicked the power button randomly or I would have missed it - but after much hand wringing that I’d lost family and personal files I was very relieved. I’ve previously used this company and left a Google review so can’t post my more recent experience there - hence I am posting here. Scott from Payam Data Recovery was very understanding of my needs and whilst I decided not to go ahead with the recovery due to personal financial reasons, I must say that I was very satisfied with the service received this time round too. My previous experience was with a USB stick, so more affordable and positive. This time it was a WD HDD so more expensive. I only needed to recover 27 GB but had some old stuff on that drive so the whole recovery was more than I needed - maybe this wasn’t what made it more expensive, maybe it was just because my WD HDD was so old. Either way, it’s my own doing and had I been able to afford it, I feel confident that Payam Data would have been able to recover it for me. I highly recommend this company and thank Scott for his patience and professional approach.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max broke and was stuck in data recovery loop. After asking for quotes everywhere and doing research for iPhone data recovery in Auckland, I received the most affordable quote and most professional service from Payam. They were fantastic throughout the whole process and answered all of my questions super quickly and with detail. They also recovered everything, including a complete iTunes backup. Keep in mind that they will have to look through your photos to ensure that none of the files recovered are corrupted. Highly recommend Payam.

Apple said the SSD was fried and recommended me to Payam (15% discount for Apple customers). The whole process was really smooth and faster than expected (Payam guided to ~5 weeks for economy service, but got it done in ~2 weeks) and pretty much got everything back. Spenny (worth it imo) and wouldn't trust anyone else with the job.

So relieved! Payam Data Recovery (Sydney) recovered all of my documents and over 90% of my photos from a very old USB Stick. They estimated recovery work could take 3 to 6 weeks but they did it less than 3 weeks. It is not cheap but it is totally worth it! They backed-up everything, including damaged photos, and returned to me on a 1 TB USB 2.5” - USB 3.0 External Hard Drive with 3 years manufacturers warranty. It was easy to plug into my laptop and upload everything into the iCloud. They also kept a backup on their system for 14 days if need be. Everything was done easily by phone, email, and mail. I highly recommend Payam. They are very reliable and professional, easy to communicate and deal with, and happy to explain things in a simple way for people like me who are getting on in years and not IT savvy. Personally, I found their services to be a bit expensive, but for the quality of service and level of professionalism provided, I believe that the price is well worth it; and the fact that they also provide options to pay over either a 6 month or a 12 month period is definitely a plus in that regard. Now hopefully, I won’t be in a position where I need data recovered again, but if that does happen I will definitely chose to work with Payam again.

My NAS raid was corrupted. Could not access any files. 10 years of data. Payam were able copy files to an external drive. Not a cheap exercise, but well worth it. Very professional and good communication. Highly recommend them.

Albert and the team at Payam managed to retrieve both the Mac files from my Mac, AND the Windows files from the virtual machine (Parallels) side of my Mac, after a nasty encounter between my laptop and a beverage. The laptop died but the hard drive survived. The team were fast, professional, sympathetic, and effective. The cost was affordable and absolutely worth it.

Couldn't have asked for a better service, my hard drive couldn't be read by the computer technician, he then recommended Payam. I posted in the hard drive and received a phone call to confirm they had received it, then after only a few hours I received the call to say they could recover the data and gave me a free quote, I opted for the economy service, due to moving house, and was over the moon to hear after a few days that it was successful, they then arranged for the external hard drive and my old hard drive to sent back to me by courier. My hard drive with all my important personal photos and videos just didn't boot up one day when I plugged it in, so I took it to a small computer shop a friend said did data recovery quite cheap, I thought if they had no luck I'd go to one of the bigger places. BAD IDEA! The first place couldn't recover anything and said most likely all my data was lost and as a last resort I could try Payam Data Recovery as they were the best. When I took it to Payam and saw Paolo, it turned out the first place I'd tried had actually damaged my drive further! I was devastated, expecting there was no chance of recovery. Within 10 days Paolo rang me back to let me know they had recovered everything! AMAZING! I was thrilled. I doubt many other places could've have done the job they did, they are the professionals, you can trust that they will do the best job possible. Paolo was great to deal with and I can't thank you all enough!! It's very obvious to me now to always go to the best place first and not the cheaper option. It's just not worth it. If your data is important to you - go to these guys!

I went in to have my external hard drive assessed by their team. This assessment was free of charge. They said my hard drive had the worst possible hardware failure. The quote was nearly $2K. I told them it was too much and went in to collect my hard drive. The representative told me they could perform a $500 clean room assessment to undeniably ascertain the problem with the hard drive. That 500 would then go towards the balance of the repair. Lucky I stumbled across a company in the Netherlands that charges 700 Australian dollars to retrieve the data and zero charge if they are unsuccessful. Only postage and handling which doesn't cost that much. They threw in a brand new external hard drive with the package. Don't get sucked in by the free quote. Nothing good comes for free in the commercial world.

My thanks to Kane at Payam, Brisbane who recovered 15 years of photos, plus all other data (which I had never backed up) when my MacBook Air totally died. Amazingly, Payam offer free quotes. My then fear that this quote would be unaffordable for such a small job from an obviously very professional business, was completely unfounded.
