Not really. Hard drive recovery varies hugely in the time and skill needed, so we test the drive first and then give a free written quote. We do not want to quote everyone the top price for a job that turns out to be quick and simple, and if there is a more economical option we will offer it.
Can you provide a quote for data recovery from my hard drive over the phone right now?

If compelled, we would likely quote the maximum price to cover our business, which is why we do not provide quotes over the phone.
We are not attempting to overcharge or exploit you.
We require testing to diagnose the issue, after which we will provide a complimentary assessment and quote based on the estimated time and necessary work.
The reason for this is that data recovery on hard drives varies significantly in the time and skills required.
It can range from a task requiring only 1 or 2 hours for a junior staff member with limited experience, to a highly complex operation requiring 20 hours over several weeks from our most experienced and highly compensated personnel, potentially necessitating multiple sets of spare parts costing hundreds of dollars each.
Therefore, the price usually ranges from approximately $375 AUD up to about $1,750 AUD, which is why we conduct the testing. Prices are subject to change.
We do not wish to quote everyone the top price if a quick, easy job can be completed for a lot less.
We test it and provide the most competitive price possible, depending on your service needs.
If a more economical option is available, we will offer it.
