My hard disc crashed and I lost everything. I took it to my local computer business that I deal with and they were unable to retrieve any of the disc contents. I had not backed up the disc for the past 8 months or more and had all of my work files as well as family photo’s and important emails that were lost. I sent the disc to PAYAM and they were able to retrieve all of the contents completely and at an extremely reasonable price. I had trouble retrieving one of the hidden files as I have limited knowledge in that area. I rang Kevin at PAYAM and he walked me through the steps that enabled me to access the file and retrieve the information. My 500GB WD external HDD died and I was horrified to realise that I hadn’t updated my backup copy of my photo’s! Which means I had lost all my personal / holiday photo’s since the beginning of 2010. I did a search on the internet for data recovery places and phoned up three other companies that left me falling off my chair at the prices to recover approximately 300mb of data! (ranged from $700 to $1500). I eventually contacted Payam Data Recovery and was quite relieved to find out the cost of recovery (no hidden fee’s – cost was listed on their website) – especially when they will not charge you if they are unable to recover anything. So really you have nothing to lose. The main staff member I dealt with was fantastic, very professional and assisted me when we were arranging drop off of another external HDD and also pick up of the data – the next day. We will need you to transfer the iTunes Backup to an external hard drive and send the hard drive to one of our offices. The following article will tell you where to find the location of your iTunes Backups on your computer – https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT204215
The duration of an iTunes Backup recovery is dependent on the severity of corruption, size of the backup and the length of the recovery queue at our lab. We aim to have the recovery completed in 2-3 weeks but it could take longer depending on the factors previously outlined.
The recovery fee will be charged upon submitting your job through our webpage. If for some reason the recovery is not successful, we will refund the recovery fee that you have paid.
The recovered data will not be in the form of an iTunes Backup, therefore you cannot restore the data to your iPhone like you normally would with a fully functional iTunes Backup. If you want to transfer the recovered data into your iPhone, you will need to manually enter and transfer the data to the device.
