My HDD (WD) was damaged when I copied some big files. I spent $89 fixing it in the local computer store (Palmy), but failed. They told me the disk was totally damaged and cannot be fixed. My hard drive with all my important personal photos and videos just didn’t boot up one day when I plugged it in, so I took it to a small computer shop a friend said did data recovery quite cheap, I thought if they had no luck I’d go to one of the bigger places. BAD IDEA! The first place couldn’t recover anything and said most likely all my data was lost and as a last resort I could try Payam Data Recovery as they were the best. When I took it to Payam and saw Paolo, it turned out the first place I’d tried had actually damaged my drive further! I was devastated, expecting there was no chance of recovery. Within 10 days Paolo rang me back to let me know they had recovered everything! AMAZING! I was thrilled. We will need you to transfer the iTunes Backup to an external hard drive and send the hard drive to one of our offices. The following article will tell you where to find the location of your iTunes Backups on your computer – https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT204215
The duration of an iTunes Backup recovery is dependent on the severity of corruption, size of the backup and the length of the recovery queue at our lab. We aim to have the recovery completed in 2-3 weeks but it could take longer depending on the factors previously outlined.
The recovery fee will be charged upon submitting your job through our webpage. If for some reason the recovery is not successful, we will refund the recovery fee that you have paid.
The recovered data will not be in the form of an iTunes Backup, therefore you cannot restore the data to your iPhone like you normally would with a fully functional iTunes Backup. If you want to transfer the recovered data into your iPhone, you will need to manually enter and transfer the data to the device.
