Economy service for SSDs is $375 to $1,750, depending on what we find. Priority and Emergency are faster and cost more, because we work on weekends and after hours and stop work for other customers to speed up your request. Or in special cases when donor parts may be very new and costly to do chip transplants on a SSD.
Only after we test it in our lab can we determine what the problem is for certain. Once we know, we will give you a written quote before we start work. We will offer you the cheapest solution to help get all of your files back in a safe, professional way with a good result.

Unlike a hard drive, standard data recovery software cannot recover deleted or reformatted data from an SSD. When data is erased on an SSD, the drive actively destroys it using a process called TRIM, which zeroes out deleted blocks in the background, often within minutes. Running standard recovery software on an affected SSD returns only zeroes.
Recovery requires specialist low-level firmware tools (PC-3000 SSD by ACE Lab) that communicate directly with the drive’s controller and attempt to rebuild its internal data map. Success depends on the SSD controller type, how long the drive was powered on after erasure, and how far the TRIM process had progressed before the drive reached us.
An upfront attempt fee applies before work begins. It is part of the total price, not an extra. If recovery is unsuccessful, the attempt fee is the only cost. If successful, the balance is paid on completion after you have reviewed a file list.

Yes. Complete the job form first so you have a job number to put in the box. Send only the SSD, or the whole laptop if the SSD is built in, with no cables, chargers or cases. Pack it in a cardboard box with 2 to 3 cm of bubble wrap on all sides, never a padded envelope, and use a tracked service.
