We do not have a lab or an office in Parramatta. Our nearest lab is our main data recovery lab in Rhodes, NSW, at Suite 213, Level 2, 5 Rider Boulevard, Rhodes NSW 2138, usually around 20 to 30 minutes from Parramatta by car outside peak hour. Our Sydney CBD office is a little further away. For most people in Parramatta and western Sydney, Rhodes is the closest place to bring a device.
Why Rhodes is usually the best choice from Parramatta
Rhodes is close, and it is the lab where every kind of fault can be handled under one roof. The specialist work is done there: hard drives with damaged heads, SSDs with a failed controller or NAND chip, logic board repairs on phones, tablets and MacBooks, and chip-off work. It is also where our largest collection of donor parts is kept, so a matching part is often already on the shelf.
Rhodes is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. You can hand your device to a person, ask questions, and leave with a job number. If you would rather not make the trip, send it by Express Post, which usually arrives the next business day and sometimes takes two, or book a same-day courier yourself through a service such as Zoom2U, TNT, StarTrack, DHL or FedEx, or compare options on Interparcel. Customers book and pay for couriers directly.
For businesses: servers, NAS and RAID
When a server or NAS stops, a whole office can stop with it. For RAID and NAS units, an urgent assessment costs $500 for a written quote in 2 to 3 hours. Approve Emergency service and work starts straight away. Most RAID and NAS recoveries cost $2,500 to $6,500 on Economy, with a $500 attempt fee that is part of the quoted price.
- Power the array off. Do not rebuild, initialise or format it, and do not run recovery software on the original drives.
- Label each drive with its slot number and bring all of them, healthy and failed. We do not need the server or NAS enclosure.
- We work on clone copies in a read-only way, so your original drives are not changed.
- We do not offer an on-site service. All recovery work is done in our own labs in Australia, never outsourced overseas.
- We sign your own NDA on request, and we put your company name and ABN on the tax invoice.

Real jobs from western and inner west Sydney
We have no published case study from a Parramatta address yet. These jobs came from nearby suburbs.
- Bankstown office NAS. Chris, an IT manager, came back after Christmas to find his company’s 12 drive Synology NAS stuck in read-only mode, holding CCTV footage, business documents and Office 365 backups. One drive had bad sectors and the file system was corrupted. All of the data was recovered and Chris collected it in person. Read the Synology NAS RAID 5 case study.
- Gladesville property business. Fernando’s whole office ran on two WD drives in RAID 0. Another recovery company had returned only partial data, and the last backup was over five years old. We cloned both drives and rebuilt the array from the clones, recovering over 3TB in good condition in about 24 hours. Read the RAID 0 office array case study.
- Liverpool home user. Muhammad’s 12 year old Hitachi drive was noisy, and recovery software at home had made things worse. We cloned it with a DeepSpar Disk Imager and every file came back with its original name. Read the bad sectors case study.
Free assessment and three service speeds
Every device except phones and tablets gets a free assessment and a written quote with the fault, the time involved, your chance of success, and three prices. Economy is our standard and best value service. Priority puts your job ahead of Economy jobs. Emergency is the fastest we can possibly work, including after hours. The success rate is the same for all three. Only the speed changes.
Most hard drive, SSD, USB and memory card recoveries cost $375 to $1,750 on Economy. Phones and tablets are a fixed price: $795 Economy, $1,500 Priority or $2,500 Emergency. Most recoveries are no fix, no fee. Some complex cases have an attempt fee, then a completion fee only if the recovery is successful. See every fault, price and turnaround on our data recovery cost page.
Evenings, weekends and public holidays
Outside business hours only Emergency service is available, and it usually starts from about $2,000. A non-refundable emergency assessment fee of $150, or $500 for RAID and NAS, applies, and our staff may need 1 to 2 hours’ notice to reach the lab. Call 0404 872 926 for genuine emergencies only.
