The team at Payam were great. Had a job which I thought was lost but they managed to inform me about the process, the chances and what I could expect. I had an 6Tb external HDD with a lifetime of photos on it that failed and no data could be read. I contacted Payam Data Recovery and as requested dropped the drive into their Brisbane collection point, I could have posted it but chose self delivery. I was contected the next day advising recovery was possible and paid a reasonable deposit. Was then advised that it would need to be processed in Sydney because of the state of HDD. I chose the cheapest ie non priority option and in about a week was advised that recovery was successful except for a few non important files and in that same email attached some samples of the recovered files. All looked perfect, I paid the remaining balance, they sent it back to me that day via Express post, included in the price and received it the next day. When I initially found my external hard-drive containing almost 2 TB  of data had stopped working, it didn't warrant thinking about without causing stress, anxiety, dread and helplessness. The staff at Payam Data Recovery were very helpful.  They answered my questions and provided me with expectations on the service.

When I received my data, most of it had been recovered which was great news.  Prior to finalising the recovery, they sent me a list of the files that could potentially have issues with the recovery.  I felt that they handled my data with care and privacy.

I was referred to Payam and from the first phone call it’s been super easy restoring my data. No fluff just straight to getting the job done. They provided the quote via email and then from there super easy and user friendly in starting the process. I liked that they even had a little video about how to send the device to them. They provided cheaper option in sending the device too. I needed to do a split payment at the end and a lot of times these days, the customers service … well you can call it that, and they freak out with split payments or cash payments but nope not Scott. He provided real customer service, cracked some jokes and got it all sorted.

Happy with the experience working with Payam Data Recovery. My MAC Pro 2015 SSD drive failed on me, and they helped me recover my data. They did the analysis and provided a no obligation quote. They gave me time to think and there was no rush from them. And finally when I approved their quote - they took a week's time to recover my data as I had chosen the most relaxed time option where they committed to recovery in 2 weeks time but they finished the job in a week's time.

While it is their business model, the only thing I would request them is to make the cost of recovery cheaper upto $500 for common people like us who are in no rush for recovery.

The good part, that they know their job pretty well and are transparent and committed to the job at hand. The challenging part is the cost involved.
