Data Recovery Professionals Australia Pty Ltd (Trading as ‘Payam Data Recovery’) promises to keep your data secure, private, and confidential. Your hard drive, SSD, mobile phone, RAID array, flash drive, memory card, or other device data stays private. We follow Australia’s Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020.
Your Data Privacy
We handle your data confidentially in our offices and labs. To confirm successful recovery, we send you a file listing and video preview. After you collect your recovered data, or we post the destination drive to you, we keep a backup copy for two weeks in case you need another copy, then erase it securely. About a week after collection or posting we email you to check that everything is working and to remind you of the erase date. If you need more time, reply to that email and we will hold the backup for two more weeks. Full details are in clause 4.7 of our terms and conditions.
Our Trusted Clients
Banks, government, medical organisations, universities, lawyers, and individuals trust us to protect sensitive data like photos, videos, financial records, and research. We recover and return your data, nothing else.
Data Sharing
We only share data if required by law (e.g., court order) or with your consent. If child pornography is found, we must report it to law enforcement, as required.
Confidentiality Agreements
We’ll sign your NDA or confidentiality agreement, as we do for financial institutions, medical firms, programmers, and celebrities.
