If we cannot recover any data, there is no charge at all.
If you would like us to examine your USB Flash drive immediately, if you bring it personally to our office we will gladly test it and tell you if we suspect the problem is hardware or software related and give you a quote while you wait. We may need 30 minutes to 1 hour to confirm this. You can then decide if you want to leave the USB Flash Drive with us or if it's not worth the cost you may take it with you and there is no charge for our time.
Once we test your USB Flash Drive we will tell you that the cost of the recovered data will cost you either $100 or $300 depending on if it's a hardware fault or software problem.
USB Flash Drive Recovery (Software Problems)
Cost $100 inc GST.
Time Needed: 1 day on average. |
USB Flash Drive Recovery (Hardware Problems)
Cost $500 inc GST.
Time Needed: 5-10 days on average. .
This process usually involves our engineers temporarily repairing the USB flash drive or removing the memory chip, imaging it and translating the raw data copied into files & folders. This will void your warranty and may be returned to you in several pieces if you need it back. The time needed can vary depending on the type of processor and memory chip being used. |
If we cannot recover your data there is no charge at all. We have a no-fix,no-fee policy.
Note: Some USB Flash Drives with certain hardware faults cannot be recovered. Each day we are finding new solutions for previously unrecoverable memory chips but at present we are able to recover data from over 90% of memory chips.
Testimonials from happy customers with
USB Flash Drive problems:
When all of a sudden my usb drive corrupted all my data and turned it into little symbols I had pretty much told myself that I had lost everything forever. But then I found out about Payam through the store which I purchased the usb drive from (which was Harvey Norman).
After just a few days with Payam they were able to recover the data that I had lost.
I am ever so grateful for this and would refer them to anyone who was faced with my situation because they have great customer service skills and are excellent at what they do.
Thank-you once again for everything

I guess it had to happen - my Memory stick was so old, that when I went to print an important assignment, it froze and then I lost everything on it!
I downloaded one of those free data recovery programmes from the Internet, but it didn't work. Resigned to the fact that it could not be recovered, I walked up to my local Dick Smith shop and purchased a new one, bemoaning to the sales assistant that I'd lost the lot.
He then gave me the contact details of Payam Data Recovery - who told me they would do their best, but couldn't promise to recover all the data. Well, less than 24 hours later and VOILA, they had performed their magic. Thanks guys - I really appreciate it.

On Thursday 19th July I took my memory stick to the Sydney branch of Payam. It was badly corrupted through wear and tear. It was examined and I was told that the data was recoverable but without the headings to identify the individual folders and was asked if I wanted to go ahead after showing me what was recoverable. I said yes and overnight the data was recovered in the manner as described.
As a result the data was recovered and I have some powerful data to use in the legal-bureaucratic scene. The cost was $100. The data was worth much more than that.

After stupidly leaving my USB stick in my laptop while in transit, which contained several weeks work of a manuscript I'd not yet backed up onto my laptop hard drive as it had just been re-formatted, I found it had clean broken in two.
Feeling ill, I was convinced nothing could retrieve my data, and was told as much by the computer shops I consulted. The one chance I had, they told me, was with Payam. I went with my disaster to Payam, and was given reason to hope.
When Payam rang me to say the data recovery had been successful soon after, I was so very grateful, and remain so. The 'no-fix, no-pay' policy I must also say is fantastic.
Thank you so much Payam for your prompt, professional miracle work.

I recently had a major problem with a USB drive and had not backed up my work. Suddenly all my files were just no longer available to me. Not only were Payam able to recover approximately one and a half years data that would otherwise have been lost to me, they were able to do it very quickly for me, which was important because I was looking for work at the time and all my CV data was lost.
Additionally they were very cost effective. Most of the companies I contacted quoted me a rate initially double what Payam ended up costing me. When you're in a bind like that and you don't have a clue about the technology it’s hard to know who to trust and how much to pay.
I'm glad I made the extra phone call that put me in contact with Payam.
They got all my data back and am happy to recommend them.

My daughter managed to break my "Data Traveler Memory Stick". As I am moving around frequently and I do not back up as often as I should, I was looking at at-east one weeks work to rebuild the files - Payam recovered the data intact and $300 was a bargain!

There was a problem reading the contents of my usb flash drive. Recovery of this data was important as it contained important documents collected from various colleagues in my last overseas business trip.
Payam was recommended to me as experts in the data recovery field. From the initial phone call to the occasion upon which I dropped in to collect the recovered data, Payam's data recovery services left nothing to be desired. Expectations and costs were clearly outlined, promises kept and everything was delivered on time as agreed. Good customer service and professional expertise.
Our Mr. Nick Davies in our IT Department immediately recommended Payam to me when I initially explained my problem to him. We have had good success with your services before and have demonstrably been supporting your business. From that perspective, it would have been a good gesture to have applied the 10% discount to my invoice, which I did not know about. Nevertheless, I accept that this was an easy oversight and would urge you to provide anyone else from Beiersdorf with a discount for your services in the future.

My son's USB memory stick failed. He had two of his major school assignment tasks on the memory stick. He had not backed them up. They were due in the last week of the current school term which was only three weeks away. Emotions were flowing thick and fast in our house that night as he realised he would now have to recreate his two projects from scratch to meet the due date.
I took the USB memory stick to work the following day and asked our IT department if there was anything that could be done to retrieve the data. I was faced with several shaking heads and after the memory stick did not work in their computers they declared there was nothing that could be done to retrieve the data.
Instinct told me that there must be something that could be done. So I googled 'data recovery' (thank god for google) and up popped a whole lot of sites. With a bit more filtering I came up with Payam and another company in Melbourne. The Payam website specifically mentioned that they could retrieve the data from a USB memory stick but naturally they would need to examine it first. There was glimmer of hope that perhaps all was not lost.
A quick trip to North Ryde followed and I handed over the memory stick for evaluation. Less than two hours later I was contacted with the news that the data was recoverable. After agreeing to the terms of the recovery on that same day I had a copy of the files in my email. The next day I received a DVD with the files on it by courier. I sent my son an SMS advising I had the data and he was so happy. All is now calm in our house. My son now has three back-ups of everything he does - lesson learnt.
I cannot speak more highly of the professional service and advice I received from Payam. If I had to mark Payam out of ten then you would certainly get an eleven. I have told many people of my experience, including our IT department who were amazed that the data could be recovered. Thank you so much.

I would like to say a HUGE thank you for recovering my files on my damaged USB drive today. You guys have seriously saved me from failing my UNI subjects, as I have 4 assignments due next week and seriously couldn’t afford to lose the work I had already done.
I can not express how much I am appreciative of the wonderful work you guys have done. I would seriously recommend your company to any person who has lost their files, due to technology crashes.
You guys have been such a great help to me and it is such a relief to know that there are people out there, who have the capabilities to retrieve such important files.
Fingers crossed for a good mark on my assignments now!! Thank you again.

Having worked all weekend and arrived Monday morning to find there was no response from my flash drive I was desperate to recover some of the work since my back up the previous week.
After a quick phone call and some honest assessment about the possibilities of recovery I was delighted to have the data recovered and provided on CD as stated by PAYAM.
In desperate situations you need some honest statements and assessments on timelines for recovery.
PAYAM provided this and I would not hesitate to contact them again if the occasion arises.
