With our digital camera memory card close to full (over 350 photos) I checked the available space and accidentally reformatted the memory card effectively deleting all of our precious photos.  Everyone told us they were lost forever and to give up.  

A few years earlier my work hard drive crashed and the back up tapes were unreadable so we used Payam to get the data back.

Recently while on assignment shooting a motorsport even in Sydney my Compact Flash card became corrupt, a complete days work gone in seconds was a horrible feeling.

I was reviewing on camera the photographs of our visit to our Daughter in Japan and holiday in China and was fiddling with intention to rotate some images whence accidently reformatted the disc. Shock horror to realise all the images were wiped out.

I just love to take pictures. When returning home from vacation my cousin accidentally reformatted my memory stick. I was devastated. All those pictures I will never be able to duplicate again were gone.

I had always been told that if you reformatted a disk it was lost forever (luckily this was not the case). I decided to take a chance and see if there was any possibility of recovery. I went to the World Wide Web and searched for "Data Recovery Services". All the sights I found did not give me any hope of retrieving the data.

Halfway through our 6 week overseas trip our camera memory card with over 400 photos on it stopped working. When we arrived back in Melbourne we did a Google search for a Data Recovery business and came across PAYAM. We handed in our card and waited.

To begin with the news was not great. Our card was a real mess and the guys were unable to retrieve any data. They recommended that we leave the card with them and as new technology was released they would test the card again. We were convinced that we would never hear from them again.

I was shooting a wedding and due to a bent pin in my card reader my CF card was corrupted. I had lost all the photos on 2 of my cards.

Stressing I went to the local photography store which sold me a $29 recovery program. This showed up nothing. So doing a search on the net I found PAYAM...sent my card off and a few days later they called me saying they had recovered the photos.

After a full day photo shoot, we tried to download the images from a newly purchased microdrive card.  The card had worked fine all day, but didn't want to mount on any of our computers.  All that could be heard was a faint clicking sound, it seemed more serious than a software problem. 

A friend suggested we give the drive/card to Payam Data Recovery and within hours Payam had reported that it was indeed a hardware problem (head crash) with the drive.  This is the most serious of all problems that can happen to one of these drives.  It was an important shoot, so after taking their advice, we instructed Payam to "operate" on the drive to try and recover the images. 

This is a very painstaking process, however in just over a week we received the fantastic news that all of our images were intact and usable. 

Payam gave us regular updates on the process and returned our email queries quickly and even offered to compile a report to pass onto our client.  All of the staff have a very high work ethic and are a pleasure to deal with, we'll definitely use them again.....although I hope we never need to!

I work in travel marketing and recently I went to Cambodia to take several hundred photos for one of my clients. During the process of downloading the images my camera card was completely wiped.

On a trip across America, Germany, Italy then Croatia, my photos on my digital camera meant a lot to me. So when my memory card on my camera showed "memory full" yet I could only preview only 2 photo's, my heart sank, as I instantly knew I had a problem. After taking around 200 photos for an extremely important assignment for University, the SD memory card decided to give up on me after planning and organising the shoot 2 weeks before hand.

It would not read or write photos on it no matter what I tried, it seemed I had lost invaluable time and data that would leave me with a serious problem as I had no time to reshoot and was ready to try anything. I enjoy taking photographs and get great pleasure and value in looking at those photographs in later years. I had purchased a new digital card for my camera prior to going on an overseas holiday. I had taken a large number of photos from three particularly significant places and with significant people when a message came up on my camera indicating the card had a fault. Not only could I not take any more photos on that card I could no longer access the photos I had already taken. 

I was told by two different businesses I approached in Europe that the photos could not be recovered. Upon returning to Australia we searched for another solution to recover my photos and found Payam Data Recovery.

I have a relative here in Australia from overseas who accidentally formatted her SD card while trying to find out how many more photo’s she can fit onto the card. While doing this she pressed “Ok” to a message and then next thing she knew, the entire photo’s on the camera where gone. She had taken around 140 photos, of Sydney, Koala Park, and other tourist attractions around the place, she couldn’t sleep that night knowing she lost all the photos.

The next morning I assured her that the photos are still recoverable, but we just had to take it to professionals to retrieve them and pay a fair amount of many to do so. I got on the Internet and searched for “Data Recovery” on Google, the 3rd or 4th link was “PAYAM Data Recovery” and I decided to give them a call to find out what can be done. I called and spoke to an employee and explained what happened and if it’s possible to be recovered, they assured me that they will try to recover the data for me, if unsuccessful I wouldn’t have to pay a cent, but if successful it would only cost me $150!!!. I was expecting well over $300 for data recovery. I came to the conclusion after the phone call that PAYAM was a good and respectable company.

I dropped off the SD card to PAYAM, two hours later they called me back, the conversation started with “We have some good news”, and that’s the only thing I wanted to hear. They were able to recover the photos and even photos from a previous format of the SD Card. I picked up the SD Card the next day. The entire photo’s turned out great, I couldn’t thank you more.

From start to finish, PAYAM proved to be a very professional company with excellent customer service; I am very pleased to have found them and will definitely recommend them to anyone.
