Has somebody opened your hard disk drive up?
Oh oh! Big mistake! This should never be done unless it's in a class-100 clean room and by an experienced data recovery professional.
If somebody has taken the hard disk out of your laptop, computer or external enclosure that's not a problem.
But, If your hard disk drive's cover has been opened or any internal repair has been done. We do not accept any work of this kind.
If your data is critical and you would like a 2nd opinion, we charge $1000 to evaluate a opened hard disk. This is charged to cover our engineers time in cases which we deem to have an extremely low chance of success. |

We suggest to wrap your hard disk in lots of bubble wrap or foam to protect your disk from further damage. Include in the box your business card or your contact details and a note describing the problem with the disk and the most important files/folders you need back ASAP. |

Our OnSite Data Recovery Service is currently only available in NSW at the moment.
Our Onsite data recovery service is ideal if you are not in a hurry to get your data back but for your privacy, security and convenience would like us to examine your hard disk and attempt to recover your data at your home, office or location.
This is ideal for busy individuals or businesses who prefer the work to be done at your location for confidentiality or security purposes.

Step 1. Contact us to make an appointment for one of our engineers to visit you. There is normally a 1-2 day waiting time. We are available from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm only within NSW currently. Our onsite service is not intended for an emergency or urgent data recovery request. If your request is urgent, see our Emergency Data Recovery Service.
Step 2. We charge $500 inc GST for one of our engineers to travel to your location and examine your hard disk and provide you with an estimated quote for us to recover your data at your location if possible. If it is not possible and your disk needs to come back to our lab we will give you a fixed price quote. We charge a minimum $500 call out fee, this includes up to 1 hour of our time. This $500 must be paid upon the engineers arrival, the fee is not refundable regardless of the outcome or time spent at your location.
Step 3. If you approve the quote for us to recover your data onsite, we charge $150/Per hour inc GST for our time at your location. If the recovery extends outside of our standard business hours (9am to 6pm) and you would like us to complete the recovery we charge $250/Per hour outside of business hours. You are hiring a data recovery expert and paying for our time, not a result in these cases.
Step 4. Once the recovery is completed, we will save all recovered data on DVDs, a new hard disk or one of your hard disks if you supply one. We will answer all questions you have and provide you with a receipt for the cost of the data recovery work.
