IBM hard disk drives are one of the best hard disks available. The IBM/Hitachi Travelstar and Deskstar hard disks had a large market share of the Australian hard disk market and still have a large percentage of the market today.

We are experts with IBM Thinkpad Notebook Computers of all models and their hard drives. This is one of our main specialties.

Even though IBM Disks are very good, like any brand of hard disk drive, these drives sometimes do have problems. Common problems we see are the disk making clicking/clunking sounds and not powering up at all sometimes, motor bearing failures, magnetic head failures, firmware corruption, service area damage and electromechanical failures.
